Over the pass few years you might say that I upgraded my self to the savvy traveler category of travelers. I have racked up a ton of sky miles and definitely spent a lot of time in airports all over the country (Bahamas) and indeed the world. So for this post I decided to pull together my version of the top things to do to kill time while waiting in an airport. They are simple and fun and definitely me 😀 HERE WE GO >>>
#5 SLEEP
It seems obvious but for the guy like me who rarely sees a rest point, a good airport sleep CAN CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Be sure to warn a fellow passenger of your hibernation, you dont wanna miss that flight!
#4 READ A MAGAZINE/BOOK
information is power, so use the time to catch up on something you might have not had the chance to read up on lately. The News, Technology, etc, it could all be passing you by and you not even know SO READ!
#3 ORGANIZE YOUR FILES
Yep, use the downtime to go through your computer files and organize them … I am def a junky file keeper, thank God for meta data and search criteria else I would not be able to find a thing. So I usually use this time to fix my naming conventions on files and folders to keep things handy.
#2 PEOPLE WATCH
I know it sounds creepy, but this is more the likely the next best thing to do in an airport second only to watching an actual movie. You might find yourself getting lost in others people’s lives (and gazing) so be careful not to get caught, it’s fun though.
#1 CATCH UP W/ THE PEOPLE YOU LOVE
Sometimes in the fray of things, you forget to call friends and family so while the only pressing thing for you is to walk on an over crowded plane … make a call to someone who counts and watch your whole mood lighten up …
