Every once in a while you get a call from a client that just rest everything in your hands and says “I just want you to make this happen”! That was the call I received from Cigi Williams when she first engaged me about photographing her and her husband Jevone for their third anniversary. We went back in forth on concept and styling and finally settle with my favorite option, which is “Let’s just get together in a beautiful location with beautiful people and make magic”! After a few weeks of locking down a good day for me and makeup artist Willisa Armstrong (Makare Gaia) … The date was set and we were ready to go. We locked down the gardens at Graycliff as a location and waited for the ‘golden hour’ light to start the session. I’ve been on the Graycliff grounds numerous times and was familiar the terrain, so finding the sweet spots on the property was easy!
I let the couple loose to have fun so that I could just capture them in their element. I think we photographed some amazing moments and the couple was happy with the result!
