I have alway been a giver and happy to participate in projects that are for a good cause. It is because of this that when I was approached by the committee of The Red Dress Soiree and asked to photograph the 2016 Leading Ladies I jumped at the chance. The Committee led by founder Tyrina Neely had picked 12 of The country’s most influential women to honor as they raised funds for The Bahamas AIDS foundation. My part in this awesome project would be to photograph the ladies for the commemorative magazine that would be featured at the event.
We gathered the ladies at a beautiful location, where each of them were photographed for their feature article and then we compiled an awesome group shot for the cover. It was an amazing experience as I got to learn more about each lady and their contribution to the county as I photographed them, which made the opportunity especially significant.
Below is sample of each of the portraits that were featured.
