My love for photography extends beyond my home turf here in The Bahamas. I am an avid traveler, and wherever I go, my camera is my trusted companion. Recently, I travelled to Medellin, Colombia for my 5th wedding anniversary with my wife @iamianthia, and I decided to take one of my new cameras the Fujifilm X-HS2 along with me to see what I could capture.
Medellin, often referred to as the “City of Eternal Spring,” is a city that thrives with vibrant culture, rich history, and breathtaking landscapes.
Truthfully the temperature was a surprise it was a constant 60 to 70º degrees the whole time. The city offers an incredible blend of old-world charm and modern energy, making it a paradise for any photographer. From the picturesque streets of Poblado to the lush green hills of Comuna 13, Medellin is the perfect spot to capture visual vibes across the full spectrum.
The dynamic mix of art, culture, and nature in Medellin made it a photographer’s dream. I encourage you to explore this incredible city for yourself and experience its beauty through your own lens and don’t forget to indulge yourself in the food scene lol.
